Patrick D. Dillon

Patrick D. Dillon, 65, passed away at home on January 12, 2024 surrounded by his loving family.

He was predeceased by his parents Patrick J. Dillon and Joan Dillon Mancuso.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Maria ( Teixeira ) Dillon, his children Patrick J. Dillon and Joseph ( Sarah ) Dillon and grandchildren Juliet Dillon, Malcolm Dillon and Whitney Dillon; his brothers John Dillon, Stephen ( Jeanne ) Dillon, and Kevin Dillon; his sisters Katherine ( Regis ) Cleary and Maureen ( Dave ) Curry; his uncle Tommy ( late Judy ) Harrington and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Patrick was a graduate of Stella Niagara Cadet School, Niagara Catholic High School and Niagara University. He retired from National Grid after a 30-year career.

Patrick was happiest when spending time with his family, especially his dearly beloved grandchildren. He was a true outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and spend time in the field and woods at the family cabin. A collector at heart, he enjoyed searching for treasures at antique and vintage stores with Maria.

Patrick was the kind of person one would aspire to be. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. His generosity, love, kindness, courage and grace touched the lives of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.
