Mr. Patrick Blake Dowdy

Mr. Patrick Blake Dowdy, age 23, of Douglasville, GA, passed away Monday, February 18, 2013. He was born March 14, 1989 in Lithia Springs, GA. Blake was an avid sports fan of the University of North Carolina Tar Heels and all his Atlanta teams. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his sister, Tami Lee. He was also preceded in death by his fiancé's mother, Trena Couch. He is survived by his fiancé, Melissa Couch; daughter, Layla Malynn Dowdy; mother, DeDe Dowdy; father, Douglas Dowdy; sisters, Robin Hill and husband Tony, Jennifer Leatherman and husband Carlton; brother-in-law, John Lee and his wife Dawn; nieces and nephews, Zack, McKenzie, Luke, JenniBeth, Logan, Avery, Shelby, and Catherine. He is also survived by the fiancé's family, her father, Joey Couch, Sr.; sister, Misty Couch; brother, Joey Couch, Jr. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, February 22, 2013 from 5-8 PM. The funeral service will be Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 2:00 PM in the Rosehaven Chapel with Rev. David Parrish officiating. Entombment will follow at Rosehaven Memorial Park. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved sister.
