So sorry to hear of Patrick's passing. I worked with him at State Fund and testified for him several times on cases. Plus he lived in the same neighborhood as me and would run into each other in the old Albertsons. A good man!!!!!

Parkes and I send our condolences to Jane, Maggie and Bernard and Patrick's extended family. This photo was taken January 9, 2023. We visited Patrick at his home in Placentia where we enjoyed coffee with chocolate and peppermint schnapps--his idea. We will miss Patrick and his quick humor, kindness and love of family.

Patrick was a great co-worker and a fabulous State Fund attorney. He was respected and well-liked by all the Judges, fellow attorneys, support staff, opponents, and Lien Reps.
He was one of the most inspirational speakers we have ever had at the 2022 Greater Long Beach Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. He touched so many people with his attitude of gratitude and love of life while battling this horrible disease. He was an integral part of the State Fund for a Cure team in celebration and now in remembrance. In memory of Patrick, the State Fund Orange County Lien Reps have made a donation to GLB Relay for Life 2023 where we will keep his memory alive and light a Luminaria in dedication of an amazing man who loved life, his family, his friends, the arts, and his faith. A life well-lived and never to be forgotten. Rest In Peace dear friend, colleague, teammate, brother.

I coached Bernard years ago and thought Patrick should be nominated for dad of the year. He was and is a great inspiration. Well done good and faithful servant! You will be missed

Being a brain tumor survivor and a Yorba Linda childhood friend, Pat reached out to me when he got his first diagnosis of brain tumors. We talked treatment and doctors. I expressed my concern and worry. He said, Shelly, don't worry....I'm in a mob, I'll be fine. I looked at him, a mob? He replied, yes Men of the Bible. I just loved that.

This obituary gives full appreciation for Patrick, who meant so much to his Uncle Bernard during years in college at CSU Chico. I've always appreciated that he brought the children to my campus office while passing through town. Barney and I enjoyed the times we had with him and were happy to meet his son who came to work for his cousin Bernard for several months.
