Patrick Grierson Obituary
Makayla. Patrick started working as a Longshoreman for Portland Local 8 in 1980. He retired early in 2009 due to an injury he sustained at work .
Patrick and Donna raised their children on a 3 acre farm in Oregon City near Redland. They enjoyed riding thier horses and having various other farm animals over the years. Patrick loved riding motorcycles and driving his boats, fishing , and camping.
He was a wonderful loving husband and father. He loved meeting and talking to people, and made many good friends. He was kind hearted, loving and generous and willing to help others. We will forever hold him in our hearts and always remember how blessed we were to have him in our lives. Rest in peace my love

I grew up across the street from Pat. I can personally attest to the fact that he was kind hearted, loving, generous and willing to help others. So many stories that illustrate his kindness but I'll just tell one. When I was sent to Boys Town Pat was everything to me. He helped me navigate all aspects of Boys Town and took me under his wing. He introduced me to Styx and we rocked out in his room. The world indeed lost a person who lifted other people up and practiced selfless service. Much Love to the family he has left behind. He's always been in my heart and always will be.

I have many fond memories of Pat and the rest of the energetic Grierson clan growing up just two blocks away. His sister, Nancy was in my class at St. Rose, Holy Child and Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Eugene. I think I will always remember Pat with a big smile on his face. Blessings for all those he left behind.
