Patrick Carl Jandl, age 71, of Sleepy Eye, passed away peacefully at the home of his niece, Lisa Meyer, on December 20, 2025. A Celebration of Pat's life with family and friends will be held at a later date.

Pat was born on April 18, 1954, in Gaylord, Minnesota, to Edward and Vivian (Dahlen) Jandl, and joined siblings Don, Judy, and Peter. He grew up on the family farm near Gibbon where he graduated from High School.

Pat worked for Boelter Construction for 25 years, and for Kraft Foods in New Ulm for 13 years.

Pat enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He was grateful to spend time at the lake with his niece Lisa and her husband Greg. He made many trips to Montana to visit his sister Judy and her family; there he had lots of hunting adventures with his nephew Chad. Pat was a skillful mechanic and spent lots of time in his shop helping others fix anything mechanical.

Pat will always be remembered for his love of family, his great sense of humor, his skill in building guns and reloading. He used old family recipes to make delicious sausages from his wild game hunting.

Pat is survived by his sister Judy Theis, nieces Lisa (Greg) Meyer, Tammy Harshbarger; nephew Chad Theis; grand-nieces: Cassandra (Zak) Vogl, Julie Theis, Hannah Harshbarger, Haylee Harshbarger, Tosha Tauer, and Nichole (Shane) Breitbarth.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Don and Peter, brother-in-law Doug Theis, and nephew Todd Theis.

Arrangements are with St. Peter Funeral Home-Klein Chapel in St. Peter.
