I met Pat Freshman year at S.I. and we became friends. In Sophomore year we realized that some of the kids I knew growing up were now "West Sunset Boys" and the rest is History. We were roommates when we first moved out and once again after that. We lived and died by the Giants and 49ers and Pat also enjoyed hanging out at the Comedy Clubs. Pat was such a good guy and more easy going then most of us. He got to know friends of mine from St. Gabriel's and South Sunset and they are glad to have known him. They often remark about what a good man he was. I am sad to see him go, but forever glad to have shared the best times of my life with him. We will meet again. I knew Pat many years ago, (we were in our 20's). We worked for the same company, different Departments. He was kind, and had a good heart. A gentleman. Sad to hear of his passing, but happy to know he had a good life. He will be missed by many.

Rest in Peace. I´m so grateful we reconnected several years ago to reminisce about our youth and the times we shared at West Sunset and with Eileen. Pat was always a gentleman and a kind soul. My sincere condolences go out to Maureen, Jimmy, Pat´s daughters and the extended Kennedy family.

I will forever be grateful to Pat for passing my phone number to my now husband Kevin...almost 29 years ago. I can see his smile. How the years have passed! Most heartfelt condolences to all the family.

I will miss Pat. We did a lot of camping together when we were young, and of course hanging out at West Sunset, playing baseball with no gloves and football with no pads. It's a wonder we survived. Very fond memories.

Goodfella, Pat lived on a cherished Avenue ,43rd Ave - known for having lots of kids with wonderful parents , in heart of the West Sunset neighborhood. Pat had the strength of a giant sequoia, was fast a wild Mustang. Smart would have given Henry Ford a run for his money! Determined and adventurous as a 49er searching for gold! Trust worthy as Fort Knox. Loving and devoted as a shepherd tending over his flock, courage like a sea captain during a hurricane. Pat took challenges head on, he was a fighter, similar to three-time heavyweight champion, Muhammad Ali. Pats friendships, had no boundaries they were as wide as long and as strong as they could be, and he love them dearly. Pat´s traits are now carried on by his daughters and grandchildren. He is gone, but his natural gifts live on within his family! Dear family and friends, l hope these thoughts will aid in the loss of our beloved Pat. A Made Man, Patrick J.Kennedy.

So many great memories of Pat growing up in the sunset. We were on 42nd and they were on 43rd. Our mothers (Nicaraguan and Irish) were best friends. My condolences to the entire Kennedy family. May he RIP.

It's been a long time since I actually seen Pat but there are plenty of memories of him and the Kennedy clan. Pat was his own man and a nice guy. I have no doubt he will be sadly missed. Our condolences to the entire Kennedy family. Slan Pat.
