I remember Mr. Kidder as my North Junior High School Social Studies teacher. He was great! I learned a lot from him. My prayers for comfort are with you all.

I remember having Mr. Kidder as my Social Studies teacher in Junior High. I was very, very shy at that time so he intimidated me a lot, but was an awesome teacher and person. I am sorry to hear of your loss but we will see him again someday. Praying for you all during this difficult time.

Mr. Kidder had a personality and a way about him that I will never forget. His knowledge and passion for his profession as a teacher was amazing. His military experience was something he used to mold our little brains as he told us of his times and travels, and somehow made the otherwise mundane relevant and interesting. Making his 3-D mountains in Geography....etched in my mind forever!
God Bless you Mr. Kidder! You were an amazing man!

Dear Betty,
I have so many memories of you and your family. I remember when you were married to Patrick and how special I thought of that as a younger neighbor. You have many memories to help you through this difficult time. Our sympathies to you and your family.

I have so many great memories of Pat while growing up on the shores of Lake Alexander, running back and forth from our cabin to the Kidders with Kelly and Todd. I won't be able to attend the funeral on Thursday but will be thinking of all of you from afar and whenever I return to the Lake.

May all the wonderful memories help the family through these difficult days/years. Uncle Pat was my dad's "little brother". The "Kidder Boys" from Little Falls, MN are now hanging out together in heaven. Heaven may never be the same - RIP Bob, John, Chuck, Harold and Pat. We had many wonderful vacations at the cabin at Lake Alexandria - so much fun.

A very special thank you to Mr. Kidder, a kind, able and thoughtful teacher to so many students in the Hopkins Public School System. He taught with enthusiasm and respect for students in and out of the classroom. I have fond memories of many conversations and learning experiences. Thank you to everyone in his family for sharing him with us for so many years. May you find peace in remembering him as husband, father and friend.

I remember Mr. Kidder well. I took geography with him in eighth grade at Hopkins North. Another teacher helped some friends learn all of metro counties during study hall, walked into class during our test, saying "Amy Ran Home When Cat Sat Down" (Anoka Ramsey Hennepin Washington Carver Scott Dakota) with hand gestures for where they were in relation to each other and I've used this ever since as my strategy to remember and teach the counties. He was kind and gentle and had a great smile.
