Allan Miller Obituary
He was born on October 19, 1919, in Guilford, the son of Homer and Bertha (Meyer) Miller.
Mr. Miller was a veteran of World War II, serving as a Corporal in the US Army Air Corps. He served from 1940-1945 in N. Africa, Europe and Pacific Theaters. During the 1960s and 1970s he was a milkman delivering along the shoreline for Maple Shade Farms of Guilford, CT. In 1973 he designed and donated the Madison Town Flag. He was an accomplished leather crafter and during retirement spent many hours on that hobby.
Mr. Miller is survived by his wife Jean, and his daughter Bonnie, of Madison. He was predeceased by his parents and siblings Frederick Miller and Norma Grove.
A funeral service will be held on Monday August 31st at 2pm in the Mary Kilton Memorial Chapel in the Franklin A. Bower Church House at the First Congregational Church, 26 Meetinghouse La., Madison. Burial with military honors will follow in West Cemetery, Madison. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to a veteran's charity of one's choice.
