I will always remember Patrick when he was a shops teacher at King George Secondary in Vancouver. He was always very positive and always will be an inspiration for me as well as his former students.

I had a fantastic teacher in high school, it was some 36 yrs ago. He was always cheery and more of a friend. He let us students hang around his class. He talked to us and befriended us. He taught me wood working skills that I still use. He was building his own camper in the parking lot. My friend used to say there goes Mr. Lobsinger as he drove by in his gold coronet...it was a 440 six pack.
He used to scare us to be safe by holding his finger to look like it was cut off. What a guy.
Deanna said the other day....Patrick used to say, " I dont teach shop....I teach kids !" She was so right.
He touched us all and made a diffenrence in our lives.
Thats how I remember Patrick. What a great man.

Mr. Lobsinger signed my grade 8 yearbook with his pilots license number...it was a joy having a pilot-teacher to talk flying with. My condolences to family, friends...everyone whose life he touched.

I had the pleasure of working with Pat around 1980- 1981 and was very impressed then by his compassion and caring for his fellow man.

I met Patrick While working at an auto parts store, he became both a regular customer and a dear friend. At the time we met, I had just lost my father to cancer, Patrick's extraordinary empathy and care helped me through one of the toughest times of my life. A wonderful warm hearted gentleman in every sense of the word. The world is a more than little lessened with his loss. God bless his family.

My condolences to the family. Pat and I were in RCAF 4043 TTU in Saskatoon in the summer of 1957 or 58...my memory of Pat was very positive..he was a born leader even at that tender age. And people gravitated to him. Too bad I lived so close and never got to meet him again.

I look about my home, and you are here, wheither it's the florescent green wind catcher, or the extra long shower wand, you made my tangible life, the best it can possibly be. I hear your voice, as clear as day.. and every morning of sunshine I imagine you are chomping at the bit, to either do something Wonderful for you and Mom, or out to the airpark.. To meet the flying club gang. You are the best Dad I could have ever had .. and that's saying alot.. Your memory will live far longer than mortal life would allow. Your tireless work with Delta Hospice will endure, and prosper.. I love and miss you Dad..
Aloft and at Peace.. Soaring above us all. Feathered Wings.. Clipped and Tweaked, that only made you, You.
