Pat was such a great man and an inspiration to so many, you could see that just by looking at his family and the way they live their lives, you will be missed so very much but our Heavenly Father must've needed you to further work on the other side of the veil, I know every person in the Moore family is so proud of the life that he lead, as well as all of those around him, Dyanna and Savannah were the two that I knew most and I want the two of them to know that they have been in my prayers and in my heart and I love them very much ❤

In life there are chickens, and there are eagles. Pat, Dyanna, and family are all eagles of excellence. What a modest and humble man, husband, father, leader, Bishop, friend. My heart goes out to the entire family - but what a rejoicing to celebrate and honor his good life and example. And what comfort for Dyanna and children to know that he is their husband and father forever. A noble legacy and example does not begin to describe the man and his life. Definitely a difficult adjustment and loss, but he and family can rest assured of receiving all the best from a loving and eternal Heavenly Father. Children - you have big shoes to fill, but you have been coached and prepared well to do it! I can think of none better than Pat Moore, and his family. You all have many wonderful memories to treasure forever. All the best.

I just received the news Dyanna; my prayers are with you and your dear family. Pat is a mountain of a man in the kingdom of God. I count it as a huge blessing to have been able to spend precious time with you while in San Marcos. Pat is as solid as a rock; his testimony of the restored gospel, and his example as a father, husband, and church leader strengthened my testimony when we were new members of the church, 18 years ago. We love you Dyanna, and pray for your precious family.

Dyanna, our heart aches as we say goodbye to a dear friend and man that was always an example of love, friendship, and a man of honor and faith. You family was such a strength to us when we were there in San Marcos. We will never forget you and your family and the love you shared with us. May the Lord give you strength and the faith to know that Pat will always be there by your side. You will never be alone. He will continue to be there for you and your family. We love you and are here if you ever need anything. Forever friends. Ken and Cori.

The services today were so sweet and wonderful. I always knew you had an amazing family but after listening to all the kids speak, I was really blown away at their individual faith and testimony that they learned at home. Each one sounded like a return missionary homecoming talk. One after the next after the next after the next. It's clear that the time and effort you both put into parenting produced amazingly strong and faithful children. I heard many people leaving today saying they wished they could start there lives over and be more like Pat. I say we all start today. Pat was able to set our oldest daughter apart for her mission in June of this year. His prayer was wonderful and sweet and faithful. We will miss his great smile and example but he lives on in you all and we know we will see him again. Thank you for sharing Pat with us as he served in the church and touched us all. My thoughts and prayers are will you all.

Pat and his family have been such a big part of my life and my family's life for years. You and Dyanna and all your children mean so much to me, and I have felt your unconditional love many times. I have so appreciated your perspective as you helped me through some rough times as my Bishop for awhile, but I appreciate the things we have shared as friends too. I have always felt your kids were like surrogate children of mine and I love them as such. Thanks for being such a wonderful example of Christlike love and service. Years ago when you first challenged the ward when you were Bishop to read the Book of Mormon everyday and promised us that we would have a miracle in our lives, I experienced a profound miracle in mine. I admire you, I respect you and love you. I miss you but know you are doing a greater work and have a call to still serve your fellow man. Your kids are a living example of everything you taught them and your example to them. I am truly blessed to have you all in my life. I found a text on my phone from you. I texted you on your birthday to wish you happy birthday and I got a very kind response back and it's still on my phone and I will treasure it always! Love to all the Moore's!! xoxox

While we were all heartbroken to hear of Pat's passing, we are truly blessed as a family to know Pat and to know all of the Moore family. Pat's example to us and his great love, service and devotion to his faith, Dyanna and family is something we will always remember. We appreciate the great love and support we have received from Pat and his entire family as they made us feel welcome upon moving to San Marcos. Your family will continue to carry on the "Forever Moore" motto until we all meet again.

What an honor to have worked with President Moore. Pat you leave us touched by your love of the scriptures, your love of the Lord and our Savior Jesus Christ. But more than that you example of how to live what you believe is and will always be inspirational. You showed us in every aspect of your life the joy you had in your heart. It truly radiates the most in the love and example to your own family. We will miss so much until we meet again.

I am so sorry I cannot be there to hug you all. Without Pat's leadership as Bishop when I was growing up my whole family would have been lost. I will be forever grateful to have had him as a leader and a family friend. It is such a heavy blow when it happens unexpected. My prayers and tears are for your family today.

I played soccer with Pat in high school. He truly was an incredible player and person.
He was one of those guys that knew he was better than the average, but never put it in your face. I've often wondered through the years where he was and how life turned out for him.

We never really know when it will be our last day! After hearing the tragic loss of Pres Moore our hearts just broke. I truly believe that he was prepared to meet his maker. What an amazing father, husband and priesthood holder . His example will be seen and felt for generations to come. So very sorry for your loss.

I am having a hard time putting words together- I'll just say words:
Dyanna, Brandon, Kyle, Tanner, Logan, Jensen, Hunter, Savannah, daughters in law, grandkids, love, testimony, Book of Mormon, freedoms, Santa Rosa, soccer, byu, raiders, golf, Nike, waterworks, FRIEND, coach, fan, wulff , bishop, president, pat, - I will miss our conversations.

We have had the privilege of watching Pat and Dyanna love each another for around 28 years. We fondly recall the times we played "assassin" and other games as young marrieds. We watched them raise their wonderful family and were blessed to have them teach and coach some of our children. We know first hand the faith, knowledge and love Pat has for our Savior and our Heavenly Father. We are grateful for our friendship with the Moore and Pat will be greatly missed! We are thankful for our belief in forever families. Our thoughts, prayers and love are with all the Moore family.

I have never met someone so close to God than Pat Moore. He raised his family so successfully that they can handle his sudden passing with grace. He is one of those few that has reached Maslow's hierarchy of self actualization to where he could spend his energy helping others. I am truly blessed to have met Pat Moore.

Dear Moore Family, You are all in my thoughts and prayers. 25 years ago I was truly blessed to be billeted to your wonderful family. Patrick, Dyanna and all of the kids welcomed me like a son and a brother into you your family and I'm eternally grateful to you all. Patrick, you are truly one of the greatest human beings that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting and also to be able to call mate, even if you are a Giants fan ;-) ! Dyanna and you are my surrogate parents to me and I am so grateful that we were able to spend so many special times together over the years and especially including my visit last year. I've cherished every moment that we've spent together over the years and your mateship and love will always live in my heart. Together with Dyanna you have created such a beautiful family and your legacy will live on for many more years and generations to come. I miss you everyday Patrick and the world is less without you. Sis Moore and family, I am so sorry for the loss and I am keeping you guys in my prayers I love each and everyone of the Moore family with all my heart. You guys are the best family that I have known and still is!!

We remember watching Pat and Dyanna grow up and fall in love in Santa Rosa they were special kids who have accomplished so much in life with there beautiful family and church activity. Pat is very proud when he looks down on the family he was blessed with and will miss him so much. May God comfort you during this hard time

So sorry for your loss Moore family and friends. Living such a healthy lifestyle, your husband and father's passing was unexpected as ever, leaving me with a thought that apparently many others had as well, as I've read on Facebookthat he may have simply been ready for his next mission. That doesn't leave the world that we live in any better without him, but if anyone was even slightly prepared to leave this life that I know, it was sir Patrick Moore.

Some of my favorite memories are of times I spent with Pat--serving in church assignments, on the golf course, visiting Scotland with he and Dyanna. The greatest legacy a man can leave is the faithfulness to the things he valued. Pat leaves the us with the love and dedication to his sweetheart, his children and grandchildren, and the Savior. Pat had these values in spades. You took it to here my friend, those who love you will carry it on.

When I think of Brother Moore I think of a generous, devout, and happy man who loved his family fiercely. He made it look easy to live the gospel and did it with such grace and cheerfulness. I remember when he and Dyanna were my "Ma" and "Pa" at youth conference one year and anyone could see what a wonderful relationship the two of them had. They are very special people and examples to all. I look forward to one day seeing them together again. Hugs and love to Dyanna and the Moore family.

My heart wrenched when I heard the news. In denial & unbelievable as it sunk in. My thoughts and sympathy immediately targeted Dyanna and the family. Such a tragic loss to us all. I'm so honored to know Pat, Dyanna and all their children. Many good memories I've had with him and his family. Such a stellar friend in my life. I will Forever Moore hold him close in my thoughts and remember his candid advice and wisdom. May Heavenly Father comfort the Moore family at this time and remind them that Families are forever.

To the Forever MOORE family: my prayers are with you but I know that the Holy Spirit and the promises of Heavenly Father are with you. Pat is an amazing man that left a legacy in his children with a testimony that is great. Know that I live your family and the spirit of hope faith and truth of the gospel you bring.
