Patrick Pledger Obituary
Patrick V. Pledger was born on March 17, 1946, in Coal Hill, Arkansas. He was a longtime resident of Longview and employed by Mutual Fire Sprinkler Company. He passed away on January 19, 2009, after a long battle with cancer.
He is survived by wife Mary Pledger; son, Gary Pledger of Fort Worth; daughter, Melissa and husband Craig Cady of Liberty City; daughter, Sheila Mackie of Longview; brothers, Amos Pledger of Clarksville, Arkansas, and Floyd and wife Linda Pledger of Clarksville, Arkansas; sisters include Iva and husband Donnie Henderson of Clarksville, Arkansas, Etta and husband Burton Hamilton of Westmoreland, Tennesssee, and Inez Selvey of Russellville, Arkansas.
Grandchildren include Elizabeth, Nicholas, Kaitlyn, Ashley, Bryonna, Jason, Michael and Joleesa; and one great-grandchild, Taylor. Preceded in death by stepson, Marty Mackie. Thank you to all the many friends and family not mentioned. Family would like donations sent to the American Cancer Society, in his name.
