CROOKSVILLE: Patrick Allen Samson Jr., 27, of Crooksville, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2011 at Grant Hospital due to natural causes.
Pat was born on May 10, 1984 in Zanesville to the late Patrick and Debbie Holmes Samson Sr. He was employed with Service Master in Zanesville. Pat was a fun loving person who enjoyed life to the fullest. He especially enjoyed being outdoors boating, fishing, hunting, and camping. Pat had a tremendous talent for finding wild Mushrooms, in fact he could often spot them while driving down the road, and his family fondly remembered him slamming on the brakes, jumping out of the car and coming back with mushrooms.
He is survived by his fianc?e, Lisa Foraker of the home; two sons, Partrick A. Samson III and Skyler M. Samson both of the home; a daughter, Destiney M. Samson of the home; three sisters, Wendy (Jason) Goodin of Crooksville, Shasta (Ernie) Glass Roseville, and Heather Samson of Zanesville; he is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a nephew, Joshua Goodin; and grandmother, Vera Samson.
Calling hours will be 2-8 p.m. on Thursday, June 2 at THE CROOKSVILLE CHAPEL OF THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME, 207 BURLEY STREET, CROOKSVILLE. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday and burial will follow in Crooksville Cemetery. Debbie I am so sorry to hear about your son. My heart goes out to you. I cant imagine how or what you are going through. It has been along time since you seen me.
