Dear Family Members of Pat,
There have been a handful of people brought to my family from the AMWAY business that left their footprints on our hearts. Pat Shay was one of those men. It looks like Heaven is beginning to gather a group of distributors that changed the world--Pat certainly is one of those. The C.R. "Jesse" James family and their distributors worldwide send their love and prayers.

Pat was such a wonderful father-in-law that was always there for us when we needed him. He was truly inspirational in the advice that he gave us all. I will always hold a special place in my heart for Captain Pat as he was always so special and gracious to me. He will truly be missed by me as well as all of his loved ones. Pat Shay was an example of a true leader of men. An example for all to follow. May God be with all the family. May He wrap his arms of love and compassion around each and everyone and give you peace.

Pat will be missed by all his friends and neighbors in Nottingham Estates, where the children looked forward to visiting his well-decorated house for trick-or-treat, or driving by his wonderful Christmas decorations. He was a gem in our neighborhood who sparkled.
