I attended F-M High School with Pat and was one of his football teammates. He, probably, influenced me more than any other classmate, and inspired me to write poetry. My father ( husband HS Football coach) and I were able to converse with Pat many years later. His devotion to making people“s lives better and changing the world thereby is the gift he left us.
Thanks 85, I am better for having known you.

I had the unique opportunity of working with Pat as we trained the Voices schools across the country for several years. We met at a brewery at the Denver Airport for an interview as he was busy finding trainers for Voices. First and last time I interviewed and enjoyed a brew at the same time.
Pat was an wonderful individual with great ideas and sweet spirit. He really brought out the best in others and personally speaking, he mentored me as I taught and trained. There were so many times when he would say, "I want you to train this staff today", and he seemed to know when we were ready to do it better than we did.
Teaching staff and students under his guidance gave me such confidence and knowledge about people and culture. I appreciate that so much.
Interesting fact: The principal of "Little Singer" reservation in Arizona invited all the Voices team over to "share a meal" and watch the election results the night Barrack Obama became president. Pat was overcome with Joy and optimism.
I am grateful to have enjoyed his friendship and mentorship as one of the most amazing jobs I've ever had as an educator.

Pat was a colleague for many years and more than that a friend. Pat's passion for giving children a Voice. I have never met anyone more passionate about about making a difference in the lives of all children. We last spoke in May of this year, he will be missed by anyone he knew. Pat, thanks so much for touching my life - you made me a better person.
