Patsy Bevis Obituary
Visitation will be noon-2 p.m. today at Cherokee Pentecostal Church. The funeral service will follow at 2 p.m., with Billy George and Hollis Lacey officiating. Burial will be at Barton Cemetery.
Mrs. Bevis was a member of Lane Springs Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hughie and Edith Pounders, three brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by her loving husband of 44 years, Owen Bevis; children, Donna, Patty and Keith; brother, Gerald Pounders (Janet); and sister, Joyce Sullivan (William).
Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.
Special thanks to the staff of Cottage of the Shoals.

We all loved Patsy so much. Her sudden passing has left us in shock. Condolences go out to the entire family. Patsy is at peace now and no longer has to deal with oxygen or wheelchairs or the stresses of like. Can't wait to see her again in Heaven.
