Mrs. Patsy Beckwith Boone

Mrs. Patsy Beckwith Boone, age 72, of Locust Grove, Georgia passed away February 28, 2014. Patsy was born in Thomasville, Georgia the daughter of the late Jesse Edward and Evie Lee Banks Beckwith. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin and Edward Beckwith. She was a member of Locust Grove United Methodist Church. Patsy enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, serving in her church as a Sunday school teacher, bereavement, and the food pantry, reading and watching movies. Survivors are her husband of 52 years, Cecil Boone of Locust Grove; daughters, Kelly Boone Bush (Mike) of Locust Grove and Jessica Boone of Locust Grove; grandchildren, Sarah, Andrew (Casey)and Matt; great grandchildren, Jace, Maddox and Andie; sister, Jinx O'Neal (Jack)of High Falls: sister-in-law, Nancy Beckwith of Savannah, GA; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. A memorial service for Patsy will be Monday, March 3, 2014 – 11:00 AM at the Locust Grove United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Buckman officiating. The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall of the church one hour prior to the service.
