Patsy G. Coker, 66, of Gladwin, Michigan, passed away at her home on Friday, April 5 2013. She was born on April 25, 1946, in Port Huron, Michigan, the daughter of Jacob and Erma (Ellis) Coker. She has lived in Gladwin County most of her life; previously residing in Kalamazoo, Michigan, where she was a beautician, first employed by Dodson Beauty before becoming owner and operator of Hair/Tenders for 28 years until her retirement in 1985. She then moved to Gladwin, and worked as an assistant manager for both McDonald's and Burger King. She had a good sense of humor, and was proud to meet Elvis Presley, Kenny Rogers, and Pope John Paul. She is survived by her sister: Marilea Levine of Beaverton; niece: Stacey Lyn (William) Randall of Manton; nephew: Steven (Anne) Levine of Gladwin; great nieces: Kylie and Kaitlyn Levine of Gladwin; good friend: Joann Ausema of Gladwin. She is preceded in death by her parents; and two sisters. Memorial Services will be conducted by Minister Renea Schenk on Monday, April 15, 2013, 11:00 A.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin, Michigan. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 15, 2013, from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. In honor of her wishes cremation will take place. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Association.
