Patsy Cook Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Mar. 31 to Apr. 3, 2023.
Patsy Marveen Cook, 76, of Martinsville, Indiana, previously of Lehigh Acres, Florida, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at home with family by her side. She had battled numerous health problems, but she is now free from the limitations and pains of failing health. She was born in Fort Myers, Florida on September 1, 1946, to the late Luther Marvin Nipper and the late Genettalee (Morgan) Nipper.

She worked as a cosmetologist in the Fort Myers, Florida area for many years. She then worked at the Golf Coast Medical Center in Fort Myers as a PBX operator and then as a medical coder. She was a member of the Lee Boulevard Baptist Church in Lehigh Acres, Florida.

Patsy loved shopping for anything and everything. Above all, she loved her family especially her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. As her health failed, she decided to move to Indiana to live with her granddaughter, Chelsea, and her family.

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by her loving family and friends including her sons, Larry (wife, Jami) Poling of Cape Coral, Florida and Delbert "Del" (wife, Fawn) Poling Jr. of Cape Coral, Florida; daughter, Tami (husband, John) Stewart of Lehigh Acres, Florida; brother, Larry Nipper of Fort Myers, Florida; grandchildren, Louis Vickers, Leah Nipper, Chelsea Voyles, Colton Poling, Riley Poling, and Brock Poling; several great grandchildren; and companion, George Cifalda of Lehigh Acres, Florida.

Along with her mother and father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Jerry Nipper.

Patsy's earthly remains have been cremated and there are no public services scheduled. The cremation has been entrusted to Neal & Summers Funeral and Cremation Center in Martinsville.
