Patsy A. Jones

Jones, Patsy A. Age 86, passed away February 16, 2021 in Palm Harbor, FL. Funeral services will be held 2PM Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held from 12PM until the time of service. Burial will follow in Sunset Hills Cemetery. Pat was born March 15, 1934 in Rives, TN. the daughter of Thomas E. and Sarah G. (Morrisette) Frierson. She married Buel W. Jones on December 29, 1950 in Flint, they moved to France while he served in the military, and in their later years traveled the world together. Pat's primary focus in life was caring for her family. She was involved in her children's lives and attended all their activities. She also worked as a Hairdresser for many years. Pat lived in Hillman, MI until 2012 when she moved to Florida to be with her daughter, Patti. She enjoyed playing golf, reading, needlepoint and gardening. She was a member of Hillman United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Mike (Carol) Jones , Patricia (Mark) LaHaie; grandchildren, Brandon (Katy) LaHaie, Rachel (Timothy) Pennell, DeAnna Jones, Adam Jones; 4 great grandchildren; She was the guardian of two very special brothers, Thomas (Debra) Frierson, David (Dolores) Frierson; sister, Wanda Weber; sister in law, Betty Carder Kolenda; many nieces and nephews.
