Maples, Patsy Ruth 78, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. She was born in St. Louis, MO on January 15, 1934 to Ruth and Roy Beiser of St. Louis, MO. Patsy moved to Springfield, Illinois in 1972. Pat was a homemaker and selfemployed as a housekeeper and worked for many families in the Springfield and surrounding areas. She belonged to First United Methodist Church. She touched many lives through her kindness and generosity. She was preceded in death by her mother Ruth Hazen and father Roy Beiser. She is survived by a sister Betty (Karl) Shirley of St. Louis; six children: Christine (William) Kohn of Gilbertsville, KY, Kathleen Jopson (Shorty Cornett) of Coweta, OK, Richard (Charlotte) Jopson of Porter, OK, Deborah Flores of Des Moines, IA, Dennis Hankins of Springfield, IL, David Carlow of Springfield, IL; 17 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and two nephews. Services: A funeral service will be held in the spring at Memorial Park Cemetery in St. Louis, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association on behalf of Patsy Ruth Maples.

Dearest Mom, It has been one month and three days since you have gone. My heart is forever empty, and my soul is eternally lost. I need more hug's, and to hear I Love You Den. I did not get to hug you as often as I wanted and I did not tell you that I Loved you as much as I should have.
