Sulphur - Patsy Hatfield McManus, 78 of Sulphur, LA passed February 10, 2024 at 7:35 AM at Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, La.

Patsy was born on February 1, 1946 in Alexandria, LA to Lucious and Ethel (Baum) Hatfield.

She grew up in Pollock La. She later met and was united in marriage to Kenneth McManus until his passing on November 25, 2023 for 53 years.

In fond remembrance of Patsy, we celebrate her warm and welcoming nature, friendly and outgoing personality and her gift for gab. She could make friends in the grocery checkout line and had an unwavering devotion to family. Patsy gracefully embraced multiple roles - daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, aunt, friend, cousin-excelling in each with heartfelt dedication. Her love for the Lord was the guiding light in her life, leaving a lasting impact on all who were fortunate to know her.

Patsy is survived by her sister Nancy Miller (Johnnie), daughters, Angela Graves Brunet of Lewisville, TX, Stephanie McManus Laird (Tim) of Sulphur, LA, Belinda Kay McManus of Sulphur, LA. Grandchildren: Savannah Brunet Spencer (Preston) of Nashville, TN, Mariah Brunet of Gainesville, TX, Curtis Tyler Dodson of Sulphur, LA, Madison Dodson of Carlyss, LA, Morgan Dodson of Johnson Bayou, LA, Tori McManus of Austin, TX, and Dezmond McManus of Sulphur, LA and four great-grandchildren, Menan, Katherine, Collins, and Aubrielle and many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Patsy was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth G. McManus, her parents, Lucious and Ethel (Baum) Hatfield, a brother Lucious Lamar Hatfield and sister Betty Jane Hatfield.

A celebration of life will be held at a Victory Worship Center 1410 W. Napolean St, Sulphur, Louisiana on Saturday February 17, 2024 at 1:00 PM Bro. Larry LeFleur officiating.
