Patsy Sue White McMullen

Funeral services for Patsy Sue White McMullen, 61, of the Lufkin area will be held Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Josh Luellen officiating. Interment will follow in the Homer Cemetery. Ms. McMullen was born August 5, 1948 in Lufkin, Texas to the late Bessie (Roberts) and Ezzie O. White, and died Saturday, August 8, 2009 in Tyler. Ms. McMullen had resided in the Wells and Lufkin areas most of her life. She worked in the Accounting Department of Brookshire Brothers Corporate Offices. Ms. McMullen was a member of the First Baptist Church, Wells, Texas. Survivors include her son, Tommy McMullen of Lufkin; brothers and sister-in-law, Billy J. White of Lufkin, Roy Lenard and Laura White of Wells and Ray White of Tyler; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joyce Carnline of Wells, Dorothy and Wayne Edwards of Southlake and Judy and Mureal Williams of Wells; and a number of nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ms. McMullen was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Henrietta White; and brother-in-law, Charles Carnline. Pallbearers will be Ms. McMullen¹s nephews. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Carroway-Claybar Funeral Home, Lufkin, directors.
