Patsy Marbut Sullivan

Services for Patsy Marbut Sullivan, 77, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 19, 2009, at Calvary Baptist Church. The Rev. Charles Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Covington Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Scotty Steed, Jerry Eberhart, Joey Howington, Jimmy Marbut, Troy Marbut and Burl Fowler. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Patsy Marbut Sullivan passed away Thursday, Oct. 15, 2009, in Cleburne. She was born Sept. 24, 1932, in Covington to James Ray and Ruby (Bean) Marbut. She married John Thomas Sullivan on Dec. 16, 1950, in Cleburne. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Patsy is survived by her husband, J.T. Sullivan of Cleburne; daughter, Janice Eberhart and husband, Jerry, of Rio Vista; grandchildren, Scotty Steed of Sweeny, Debra Meek and husband, Chris, of Wichita Falls, John Hamilton and wife, Shelley, of Mansfield and Mandy Howington and husband, Joey, of Rio Vista; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers, Jim Marbut and wife, Emma, of Covington and David Marbut and wife, Donna, of Joshua; sister, Nancy Clinkscales and husband, Jim, of Cleburne; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Diane Packwood; and two sisters, Bonnie Fowler and Dorothy Marbut.
