Joan S. Trask

Joan S. Trask, age 75 of Concord Twp. died April 12, 2012 at her home. Born August 16, 1936 in Sault Ste. Marie, MI to James and Rita (nee: Bailey) Shields, she had been a long time Mayfield area resident before moving to Concord Twp. 15 years ago. Joan Shields married Joseph Trask on Aug. 25, 1956. She was a homemaker and employee of Trask Auto Parts in Cleveland. Joan enjoyed knitting, gardening and landscaping her yard, camping and going on vacations with her family. She is survived by her husband Joseph Trask of Concord Twp; son Tom (Sheri) Trask of Hambden Twp; daughters Carol (Robert) Heiss of Wickliffe and Kelly (William) Voor of Carmel, IN; grandchildren Erin, Lee, Adam, Kevin, Katy and Andy. She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Kristen Ann Trask; brother David Shields; sisters Jean Schwarz and Ann Watson. FUNERAL MASS: 10am Tuesday April 17, 2012 at the Church of St. Mary 401 N. Street Chardon with burial to follow at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Twp.
