The funeral for Mrs. Mary Katherine Robinson will be Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, at 1:30 p.m., at the Elkins Funeral Home Chapel, Florence, with Brother Derrell Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park. The visitation for Mrs. Robinson will be Sunday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Elkins Funeral Home is assisting the family.Mrs. Robinson, 82, went home to be the Lord Friday, Feb. 4, 2005. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lovell Thomas and Eliza T. Hunter; her daughter, Linda Ruth Robinson; two brothers, Tipton and Andrew Hunter; two sisters, Roena Carroll and Ocie Robinson.She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Mr. Silas Eldon Robinson; one son, Donnie Robinson, of Florence, Ala.; several nieces and nephews.Mrs. Robinson was a faithful member of Petersville Church of Christ for many years. Mary was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife and mother. She was a good homemaker and gardener. She loved to care for her family.Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.Mr. Eldon and Donnie Robinson wish to thank Mary's church family, especially Derrell Davis, Marjorie and Steve Scott, and Jane and Wayne Fowler for their wonderful acts of kindness shown to us and many friends too numerous to name.Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Petersville Church of Christ in loving memory of Mary Robinson. Although the family appreciates your kind remembrance of Mary with flowers, they do request no potted plants.Margaret H. WhiteMrs. Margaret Hatton White, 78, of Ranger, Texas, passed away Feb. 2, 2005, in Eastland, Texas. She was a native of Colbert County, Ala., and had lived and attended school in the LaGrange community. She was buried Feb. 4, 2005, in Evergreen Cemetery, under the direction of Edward Funeral Home, of Ranger, Texas. Margaret was very active in her church and community services. She was also a business lady for many years.Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jesse White; son, Jerry Don White; parents, Benjamin and Mattie Morgan Hatton; brothers, James Hatton, Otis Hatton, Willie Hatton; sisters, Imogene Vandiver and Martha Greenhill.Mrs. White is survived by her daughters, Brenda Guardino and Dianne Wilson; son, Brad White, all of the Ranger, Texas, area; sisters, Earlene McCaig, Mattie McCormack, Mary Burke, Kathleen Aycock, and brothers, Curtis Hatton, Preston Hatton, all of the Shoals area; nine grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends of the Shoals area.Spry Memorial Chapel, Russell-ville, handled local arrangements.
