I am so sorry to hear of Patti´s homecoming. It was great working with her during my 1st term on the Metro Council. She was always diligent in sending reports on activities in the City-Parish Purchasing Dept, which she was the Director.

Sleep well!

I met Patti through fellow Classmate Tonola at Crestworth Jr. High. On behalf of the Scotlandville Class of 1978, we would like to let Tonola and the Family know our prayers are with all of you during this time.

No more grief or sorrow
No more suffering or pain
Now there is everlasting peace
Because the Angels came.

She answered the gentle knock
Of the Angels at her door.

She now rests in peace
As never before.

New wings were claimed as
She takes flight to heaven.

Dannie, Darren & Dana
The hard part wasn't losing her
It is learning to live without her.

I cannot express the feelings I have at this time. My heart aches, my mine race and my body feels numb. But I can hear my loving sister Patti say as always "Get up Tee, I´m still with you, I will guide you through this".

I will dearly miss my professional, stylist, sophisticated loving sister, but mostly I will miss my best friend.

Dannie, Darren and baby girl Dana, I have witnessed your strength, your love and your caring ways during this difficult time. You all are your mother in so many ways. You are my heart, and I will always be here for you.
I Love you forever

I was truly shocked to hear about the passing of Patti. We were co-workers for about 10 or more years. She was my right hand when I lost my daughter. I pray for strength and peace for her children and the rest of her family.

I was truly saddened to hear the passing of Patti. Patti was my Procurement Director at Dept. of Education for many years, and the lessons I learned from her will be life long lessons. Patti was passionate about her profession in Procurement and she wanted her employees to be the same. Anyone who worked directly with her; I'm sure we all share the same stories. Pattie loved her family especially her kids. Her legacy will live on; for I know everyone in the Purchasing world will forever say " Now you know how Pattie did it"
Prayers to her entire family and friends

I´m saddened to hear about the passing of my first and best ever "square dance" partner, Patti Michelle Jones. She was a dear friend who attended Progress Elementary, Crestworth Jr. High, and Scotlandville High Schoo the same years that I did.

Thanks for the memories, and rest in peace.

While young and mostly naive of GOD'S WORD, I did not understand too well that we ALL have an appointnent with death. But as I got older, I sought and thoroughly understand that this earthly place is Not our home, we are just passing through. What an awesome privilege to have known Patti while on this earthly journey. Thanks for ALL the memories my friend! Roscoe Harris

To the family, please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss.
Throughout my time working alongside Ms. Patti J. Wallace, I was consistently struck by her remarkable ability to balance warmth with professionalism. While Ms. Patti was known for her high expectations and stern guidance, it was always clear that this stemmed from a place of genuine concern for the success and growth of the team. She pushed us to be our best selves, encouraging us to rise to challenges, and to follow the Public Bid Laws, while supporting us every step of the way. She took the time to educate and empower those around her, fostering skills and confidence in her colleagues. Her commitment to excellence was balanced by a compassionate heart, and she will be sorely missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Please know that the entire City of Baton Rouge, Purchasing team are in the family thoughts during this time of grief.
With deepest sympathy,

Arvin F. Jones

My beloved sister, I cherish the time we had together. You taught me so many things about life it´s hard to remember them all. From chess to playing the saxophone. You were always a part of my life and my success. I remember following you at Crestworth Jr high. All of my teachers would expect the best from me, because of the standards you set. You were my inspiration, my logic and my motivation. I love you beyond measure and will miss you so so much.
