Patty Ramsey Obituary
Patty Ramsey, age 63, of Hillsboro, Ohio, entered the presence of her Lord and Savior Tuesday, August 29, 2023 surrounded by her family.
She was born July 23, 1960 in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Russell Brown and Evelyn McFarland Brown.
Patty loved God and studying His Word. Family was an important part of her life and she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She spent over 32 years home schooling her children. Patty attended Good News Gathering and loved to travel, go to the beach, going on cruises and reading.
Surviving is her husband of 41 years, Donald "Butch" Ramsey, 12 children, Jacob (Heather) Ramsey, Heather (Cameron) Hopson, Will (Emily) Ramsey, Hannah (Steven) Oney, Nick (Jessica) Ramsey, Emily (Chris) Caton, Grace (Colton) Dunseith, Mercy Ramsey, Abby Ramsey, Ben Ramsey, Tara Ramsey and Tess Ramsey, and 31 grandchildren. Also surviving are 2 sisters, Sandy Brown and Kita Payne and her brother, Steve (Melissa) Brown as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, John Payne.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Good News Gathering, Saturday, September 2, 2023 at 11:00 am with Pastor Jeff Lyle officiating. Interment will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends will be received at Good News Gathering, Hillsboro, Ohio Saturday, September 2, 2023, 9:00 am - 11:00 am.
Rhoads-Edgington Funeral Home, Hillsboro is serving the family.
