Paul's sister, Irene, was married to my oldest brother, George, and I remember him well from his years of working at EMMC. He was so pleasant and always greeted me with a smile when I went there to visit a patient. A kind and gentle man.

I was saddened to see Paul's obituary this morning. I had a flood of memories of he and I working together during the early morning hours at EMMC directing employees as the entered what was then the employee parking lot. This was long before the parking garage was built. He made an otherwise boring task fun. He was always smiling and laughing. I worked with him on and off over the years during brief additional stents as a security guard at EMMC in later years. Of course I also visited friends and relitives who were patients at EMMC and it was always nice to see Paul, standing at the entrance greeting all who came in. His personality made him a perfect greeter EMMC.
