Pat, I'm so sorry for your loss. I'll miss Pete. I'm fortunate to have known such a nice guy.

My deepest sympathies to the Belsito family. Mr. Belsito was always a role model to everyone he had contact. He inspired everyone to be better. Mr. B was always encouraging us to stride higher as kids while also installing community pride. Wonderful man, mentor, and person. He will be missed and remain in our memories always.

I am so very sadden to hear on the passing of Mr. Belsito. He was the VP at Memorial when I attended. I suppose I spent more time than most with him being "sent" to his office regularly! Our "discussions" are still vivid and bring a smile to my face, he was man that helped to shape a generation of Leicester's finest. My favorite memory was when I was collecting on my Sunday paper route at Ms. Kelly's, he answered the door, his face looked stunned while asking "what are you doing here?" I know he was thinking how did this kid find me on the weekend! Deepest Sympathy to All.

With many connections to and from Pete through the years, Pete will live forever in my mind. With Peace.

My condolences to the entire Belsito family. Having grown up in the old Green Hill Park area with Pete and his entire family the one thing I think about is how fortunate Pete was to have grown up with his children and experienced being a grandfather. This is an experience that his father, and a lot of other fathers in our generation did not have. Condolences to David,Liz, Mary and the entire family.

This is the first I´m hearing of Mr. Belsito´s passing. I am absolutely heartbroken. Always one of my favorite customers to wait on for many years at Coffee on the Common not to mention such a hospitable man to his children´s friend.

We played baseball together, we attended the same dances and I would visit with him and his family when they lived on Forbes St. We had fun times together and we got separated when he went to a different high school but over the years I always thought back about our time togethers. He was as good a person then as when he got older as mentioned by all his friends and former students. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

Pete was one of the nicest people I ever knew. It was a great pleasure to work with him. He will be missed by the many who loved him.

Mr. Belsito was the vice principal when I was in middle school and he created a memory that will last a lifetime...recess was always cancelled when there was a lot of snow and me and another annoying middle schooler complained about how it wasn´t fair as any middle schooler would..and we wanted to take it up with administration Mr. Belsito told us "when it snows in April, I´ll take the two of you outside myself in the snow". Well, you know it snowed that April and he sure enough took us outside and had a snowball fight with us. He was a wonderful man, my thoughts and prayers are with his family. He will be deeply missed.

Mr Belsito was the best. He was a phenomenal principal he never got mad and was always so patient with his students. My whole family and children all were fortunate enough to know him. Patty and family sending hugs. So sorry for your loss.

One of the principals/staff members at LMS who truly made an impact in my life and saw past (lets be honest, sometimes laughed) at the trouble I'd frequently find myself in. Instead he would dig deeper to find the root. We had many long talks and I know that he truly cared for his students. As a matter of fact, I don't believe that I ever saw him get angry. My condolences to the family. It is truly a great loss.

I enjoyed working with Pete for many years in the Leicester Public Schools. He was a genuine , authentic and compassionate person who always had the best interest of all the students at Leicester Middle School. He was one of my best choices to take on the responsibilities of the principalship at L.M.S. I learned a lot from him over the years we worked together.

My sincerest condolences to the whole family. It was a pleasure knowing him.

Mr. Belsito was my Assistant Principal at LMS who later became my colleague. He inspired me to go into administration and I am forever grateful for his mentoring through the years. He instilled discipline, character and compassion in his students. His legacy, especially his trademark bull-horn speaker, will live forever. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

He was my assistant principal at Leicester Middle School in the mid-90s. His encouragement and words of wisdom stay with me to this day. We often talked about our shared Italian heritage. I would like to offer my sincere condolences to his family. He made a difference in my life and many others. Thank you.

I remember Pete from Burncoat Jr. High, before he went to St. John´s. He had such an infectious laugh. Then we went to WSC together. It is very hard to lose the love of your life, but I hope you will rely on his words of wisdom and smile. May he Rest In Peace and may all of you now that he made this world a better place. I´m so sorry to hear of your loss, I had him for my English class , he would always make it interesting, even though that was a subject I really didn´t like. And in High School he was our Drivers Ed teacher, he was a very nice man, and a devoted teacher.

Pete was one of those charismatic individuals who always had a twinkle in his eye. I will never forget the first time I noticed the Mickey Mouse watch and his smile when he knew I recognized what a sweet man he was. He may have looked gruff, but he was all sweetness on the inside. He cared deeply for all those who were in his sphere and it was evident when I was introduced to his family how proud he was of them all.
