Dear Friends, I was shocked as I drove by the store. It is so very hard to convey the feelings running through my heart. The last time I saw Paul was in the grocery store. He looked fantastic. I remember how hard he worked through his rehabilitation from his earlier stroke. I know we have known the ACE family for almost 20 years. He will also be missed by those whose hearts he touched. I am so sorry I did not know earlier then this morning. All my love friends.

Brenda, Erwin and Betty, I am so sorry to hear about Paul. As you know, I thought so much of Paul. He has been a GENUINE friend for nearly 25 years.
Paul was always the kind of friend you would want. but also he was the kind of friend that you would like to be yourself.
I have always enjoyed your entire family.
My life has been enriched through the years because of knowing your family.
Though my words cannot provide relief from your aching hearts. Please take comfort in the knowledge that Paul is in GOD's arms.
We love him and will miss him greatly.
Truly this is a loss for family, friends and our community alike.
Thank you for your wonderful friendship!!!
Godspeed Paul, Godspeed!!!!

My husband and I were shocked to hear of Paul passing away. He was such a kind and friendly face. We could always count on a warm and genuine "Hello" when we walked in the door. He will be missed!

He will be missed terribly. Our hearts go out to you, Mr Betts and Ms Brenda and Aunt Betty and the rest of your family. Know you are very special to us.
My God's perfect peace and grace cover you. May his power help you though this time.

What a tremendous loss to the community. Paul has been helping folks for a long time going all the way back to the original Chalkville store. I was not a personal friend of his, but I felt like it. I think he made everyone that he came in contact with feel this way. Rest in Peace Paul!

Can not believe Paul is gone at such a young age. I live no more than one mile from Ace and have been a customer of his for many years, such a sweet, helpful and caring person. He will be greatly missed by so many, God Bless Paul and his whole family and friends.

I too will miss Paul, I met Paul back in 1990 at the Springville Rd store and I can say he was a wonderful and knowledgeable person. Through the 21 years, Paul has helped me out on little things and or big problems. Paul alway took an interest in his customers and brought back the good old days when people cared about other people, and not how much money he could get out of them.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. What a fine man I understand Paul to have been, though I didn't know him well. Our community has suffered a true loss in this man, as has his family. I hope those who love and miss him will find hope, and even joy, in the days and months ahead in turning to the pages of Scripture and leaning on the One who speaks there. Many blessings; my prayers are with the Betts family.
