All who knew Paul will surely hold within their hearts and minds the light of a warm flame as they recall fun times, great conversation and his huge heart. So sorry we received the news only today and hope these thoughts reach his family. Susie (Gawron) Heist

Paul was my best friend in college. We went to Daytona beach together with some others for spring break and had a great time. I have many stories of Paul all of which showed his humor and good nature. I could never think of him with a handicap as he had too many other assets. I will truly miss him- the world will be a lesser place without Paul. Goodbye my friend and Brothet.

R.I.P. Paul. We were classmates at S.U.N.Y. Oswego & had plenty of great times together. Deepest condolences to your friends & your family.

Dear Diane and family: I first met Paul in 1967 at Oswego State. Over the next few years, he became a close friend, a roommate, and a fraternity brother. Everyone knew Paul and some of us were fortunate to know him better....his drive, humor, wit,and loyalty. My sympathy to you on your great loss. I know Paul left you, and his many friends, with happy and cherished memories.

I will always remember Paul as an engaging, genuine, selfless soul with a luminous smile and gental heart. Always a kind and optimistic voice. The heavens are singing his praises and Lamentations. My deepest condolences to Diane and the rest of the family. A well deserved rest for a luminous friend.

Paul was my "big brother" and roommate at Oswego. I remember the great conversations we had. Condolences to his family.

I remember Paul visited us when our daughter, Emily, was about one year old. He came with several gifts. One was a Holly Hobby rag doll that was bigger than Emily. We still have that doll as it was one of her favorites. He was such a gentle heart. Love and prayers to all of you. Margie Dewey Clark

It was such a privilege to work with Paul. He had such a passion for helping students. I always looked forward to talking to him, he had such great stories. I will always remember the excitement he had when his granddaughter was born around the time I was pregnant with my daughter. I have missed seeing him around CCSD so much. I am happy to know he is walking in heaven. God Bless you all during this difficult time. I am so sorry for your loss.

I haven't seen Paul since Suny Oswego days but can only say what a privilege it was to have shared time (and some copious fun) with him.

I will always remember the countless hours spent playing Pinochle in the Onion at Oswego with Paul when I should have been in class...lots of fun times...my thoughts and prayers are with the family...R.I.P. Beta brother.

I worked with Paul at CCSD. He was such a kind man whose students and colleagues really enjoyed working with him. I am so sorry for your loss.
