We were sorry to hear of Paul's passing. Our condolences to his friends. Paul was our first cousin and we enjoyed many wonderful conversations with him. Unfortunately we are unable to attend his funeral mass. We will all miss him.

I worked at Cox's Department Store in Monroeville Mall with Mr. Brecht. I remember him as a kind and gentle man, always willing to lend a helping hand or answer a question. It's ironic that I should stumble across this beautiful story of his life just a few days after I was googling information about the old stores of Monroeville Mall. Thank you Mr. Brecht, for your kindness.

Bruce, family and friends so sorry to hear of the loss of Paul.
I got to know Paul when we both served on the Board of the East Liberty Valley Historical Society.
He was such a champion for the East End of our City and such a dignified soul. Our City is lessened by the passing of Paul. My deepest sympathy.

Paul will be dearly missed by my daughter and myself. All his amazing stories of his life, his great love for all animals, his perfect smile and how he always was so overly friendly to us. We both knew how much he enjoyed it when we came to visit him. We also would like to send our deepest condolences to Bruce. We want you to know that you and Paul will forever be in our hearts. We are so thankful we had the opportunity to meet you both and be apart of your lives.
Love always,
Chaley & Echo
