PAUL J. COMEAU

1938 - 2016

COMEAU, Paul J. 77, of Lynn, entered into eternal life on December 14, 2016, to join his beloved wife and soulmate, Gail C. (DeCoste) Comeau, who passed away in February of 2015 and with whom he was inseparably linked and shared 54 years of marriage. Born in Everett, Paul was the son of the late Harry and Catherine (LeBlanc) Comeau and attended Malden schools. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He worked as a printer at Offset Printing Company in Boston and Rockland for over 35 years. After his retirement he worked as a groundskeeper at Pine Banks Park in Malden. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid Patriots, Bruins and Red Sox fan and loved traveling with his family especially to Maine, California, and Hawaii. Paul was the loving father of Paul J. Comeau, Jr., and his wife Tracey of Lynn, and Suzanne Rackett of Merrimack, NH; the cherished grandfather of Alicia Phillips and her husband, Tyler, Jessica Rouleau and her husband, Daniel, Joseph Rackett, Jr. and Caitlin, Eric Rackett and Melissa, Sean Comeau, and Mitchell Comeau; the great grandfather of Jaxon Phillips, and Jayden and Nathan Rouleau; the dear brother of the late Jacqueline "Jackie" D'Entremont; and the uncle of several nephews. Paul's funeral will be held from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St., LYNN, on Wednesday, December 21st, at 9:30AM, followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours will be held from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, December 20th in the funeral home.
