Thinking of all of you with an open heart. I'm so sorry I saw this only today and not in time to be at the visitation. I've often wondered how Paul was coming along. It's been quite a journey for all of you. Please know you are in my thoughts.

My deepest sympathies to your family. I had the honor of knowing your husband and father, I took care of him at Shadyside Dialysis Unit. Mr. Connelly was a charming fun man, he always had a smile and quick wit. He will be missed.
Sincerely,
April Harrover-Betz

Dear Mrs. Connelly, Cindy and Paul Garret,
I am very sorry to hear of the passing of your husband and father. We always had a great time playing with Paul and Cindy when we all lived on Lowrie Street. The birthday parties were the best! Your parents were very creative creating the clues and treasure hunts! Let us not forget stuffing Thomas, aka 100lbs of bologne down the laundry shute! Usually followed by a Paul Garret!! from your dad after tom landed in the basement. Not sure how your parents put up with us. I wanted to share some of my childhood memories. You are blessed to have such a wonderful family.

Paul was a good cook and host at Thanksgiving Day celebrations. He enlightened me to fresh bread, raw salmon, capers, and onions, in that order...and he always had a good bottle of wine to share. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.

He always had a bad joke or good food and a big smile for everyone. I appreciated him liking me. I've known him a long time, and I miss him.
