Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 10, 2025.
Paul Andrew Custodio, passed away on February 22, 2025, at home in Edmonds, Washington.

Born on January 11, 1964, Paul grew up in Hudson, Ohio. He attended Hudson High School where he found his love for the stage and acting. Paul followed that passion for theater by attended Wright State University and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. After college, he moved back to Hudson and that's when Paul met his wife Geri. They made the decision to moved to Seattle in 1987 to start their life together and for Paul to pursue acting. In 1992 their family was complete when their pride and joy Addison arrived. They eventually found the forever home in the lovely community of Edmonds.

Paul had a gift for words and writing which led him into the world of advertising. After working at several Seattle advertising agencies and building those skills, he applied his creative talent at The Boeing Company in the creative services department.

Travel and traveling with friends were apart of Paul and Geri's life. Annual trips to Palm Springs and Hawaii were among some of their favorites.

A devoted Cleveland sports fan, Paul followed the Browns, Cavaliers and Guardians with unwavering enthusiasm. Golf became his passion later in life. He enjoyed playing golf with friends and faithfully watched the major golf tournaments cheering on his favorite players.

Paul would also frequent one of his favorite local beverage establishments at the end of a work day or after a stage performance. There he enjoyed a Bud Light or a gin and tonic and would often engage with friends old and new.

Paul had the remarkable ability of bringing people together. Whether through interesting conversation or his great sense of humor, Paul made those around him always feel welcome. He was the life of the party and turned the simple gathering into something special.

Paul is survived by his wife, Geri Custodio; his son, Addison Custodio; his sister, Lisa Lloyd (Tim Lloyd); his brother, David Custodio (Karen Gerchak); and many nieces and nephews.

For those who knew Paul, he will be deeply missed. The next time you watch a round of golf, cheer on a Cleveland sports team, or take in a play at the theater, raise your glass in honor of our amazing Paul. A man who brought laughter and light into so many lives. Paul made our world a better place. We were all lucky to live in Paul's universe.
