My Grandpa was a brilliant and deeply loving man. He has always been present in my life, from my earliest memories. When I was a child, I remember him bouncing me on his leg, singing silly songs. Or, the many memories made with the innately carved toy chest he built for me. As I got older, he loved to share his passion for family history, as we sat around his dining table in Santa Fe flipping through old photo albums. I loved getting to see and share in this passion of his. In more recent years, we began connecting over literature-something that I am deeply passionate about. It was such a joy getting to share and discuss our favorite classic novels, to tell him about what I am studying, and to receive from him priceless life lessons. As a grandpa, he was always present, loving and supportive... I could not be more grateful. I will miss him more than words can say.
Love you Gramps

My husband Rex and I have fond memories of visiting Uncle Paul at his lovely Santa Fe adobe home. He had a wide variety of interests that he pursued with enthusiasm. The world was meant to be explored and he did not hold back! The MacPhersons will miss him and I will miss his frequent emails that kept me laughing.
Gillian, Stephen and family - we loved your dad and wish you comfort and peace

Mr Hibbert was known to the neighbourhood kids as the Boat Builder. He was always present. What wonderful life skills he developed and life adventures he had. He may have been a profound introvert but he sure seemed to have imparted so many lessons. I´m very sorry for his passing. May Mr Hibbert be of blessed memory
I´m sending you lots of love and strength at this terribly sad time.

RIP Mr. Hibbert. I have nothing but fond memories over the years when calling on Gill at her dads. Always a project being worked on, and always a kind salutation. I remember very well the boat that was worked on for years. I always had such respect and admiration for his dedication and passion to that project. A great roll model and father who took much interest and care in being a very present parent. I'm glad I had the honor to have met and known Mr Paul Hibbert, the dad of my best forever life long friend Gillian and Stephen, my younger brothers #1 Wing Man for years. Our deepest condolences to the family during this most difficult time. May all his wonderful memories comfort you now and in the many days to follow. I believe he lived the life most would dream to live, and for that one must be grateful. Love to All Kelly (Pizzariello) DePergola

I understand what you are feeling. It is so hard to let go of a person who was so important in your life and taught you so many life lessons. For the few times we got together, I felt Paul was one of my best friends. We just had a special caring for each other. Love you Gillian and am here for you. Much sympathy to both you and Steven.
