I`m sorry for your loss. i was student at THS 74-77 and got to know Mr. fenwick as a principal and a good man. He was fair and knew a lot about people. i wasn`t the best of students and he handed out discipline to me more than once, but fairly and with a sense of dignity and sometimes-a sense of humor.

-pauls granddaughter:
knowing all of the great things my grandfather did makes my wonder why bad things happen to innocent people. seeing my grandmother was harder than anything i have ever done in my 10 yrs of life. seeing her so sad was painful.but not as much as knowing he was gone. we all thank you for your love, donations for a scholarship, and heartfelt comments, and wish you a long heathy life.

Dear Mona, I am in Largo visiting Wayne and Sue. I have called and tried to reach you several times. I am so sorry to hear about Paul's passing. Wayne was reading the Saint Petersburg Times and noticed the obituary. I remember meeting you at the Marriot for lunch and having a great visit. Paul was truly a wonderful man and you were lucky to have so many happy years together. Thank God for our memories.
I will keep you in my prayers and hope I can talk to you soon.
Love, Your "roomie" and "maid of honor" Donna
P.S.-I have talked to Gwen this morning and told her about Paul. Call me when you can.

Mrs. Fenwick,
Please accept my sincerest condolensces on the passing of Mr. Fenwick. I may not have been in any of his classes or on any of his teams, but that did not diminish the respect and admiration I held for him.
He played at our wedding some 42 short years ago.
It is with a warm glow I recall our having been on the same schedule for a time. We would arrive at Bedell's Coffee Shop early in the morning. It was a cup of coffee, two hot doughnuts, and some great conversation. Then it was off to the H.S. for him and work in NF for me.
A finer gentleman and more dedicated educator I have never met

My deepest sympathies to the Fenwick family. Paul was a gentleman and fine person to work for and know. I have many fine memories of him at THS and when he played at our wedding. It was nice to see both he and Mona years ago at the Sand Key condo which was in the same complex with my parents.

Dear Fenwick Family: I remember Mr. Fenwick as a much younger (and very handsome) teacher with a fine sense of humor and friendly disposition. I also remember the squeaky shoes he wore during the tests so we always new he was nearby. I also remember Mona as our substitute music teacher. That was a good time of life.
On behalf of myself and the Class of 1963, our sincere condolences on his passing. He was a very nice man and a positive influence on most of the youth in Tonawanda.

Paul was a great person and colleague. We both enjoyed sharing memories of our time at THS whenever we would get together. His positive attitude was always present, even the morning of senior prank day when we found a car in the hallway. He will be missed and I doubt if there will ever be a more professional principal than Paul Fenwick. Carol and I want to express our deepest sympathy to Mona, Karen and David.

Mona, David and Karen,
We were saddened to hear about Paul. But we know that you have many precious memories of him that will help sustain you in the days ahead. As your neighbors on Willowgrove South, we were fortunate to always enjoy his "comings and goings" either to or from work or to one of his "gigs". Our sincerest sympathies go to you at this most difficult time.

Fenwick Family - My dad truly enjoyed working with yours. When they were Principal and Asst. Principal, they were dedicated to working for kids! My parents have valued your parent's friendship over the years. I'll always remember your dad's big smile as we'd see him in the halls of THS. I remember one summer when our family visited yours at the cottage in Canada. It was there that I attempted water skiing and went home with bruises! That same trip, your dad let my dad try to slalom on skis and that's when he realized he wasn't 18 any more....he did a mid air flip! As an educator myself, I know how trying some days can be. Your dad's positive attitute is an inspiration. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. God Bless. Jeanne (Horton) and Ken Potts

Fenwick Family - Mr Fenwick will be dearly missed by the Horton family. A few words come to mind when I think of him - friendly, kind, value-focused, honorable, trustworthy. I could go on, and on. I know my father is feeling a great loss - as are the number of people Mr Fenwick touched during his life. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the entire Fenwick family. God Bless.
