Paul Scott Fruchtnicht, aged 43, passed away on September 29, 2024, in Covington, Louisiana. Born on September 24, 1981, in New Orleans, Paul was the first member of his family to earn a bachelor's degree. As a liberal arts student at the University of New Orleans he received the Philosophy Faculty Award for his thesis on Hegelian aesthetics.

Known for his remarkable talents as a guitarist, Paul's passion for music was evident through his soulful compositions and deep knowledge of various musical genres. His love for animals was equally profound, often seen caring for and nurturing his pets.

Paul is survived by his sister, Sarah Rae Newman, and his parents, Mark and Katherine Fruchtnicht. His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who knew him as a thoughtful man with a creative spirit and a compassionate soul.
