PAUL HERMAN GEITHNER Jr.

I was sorry to read of Paul's passing. I went to Northeast High School with Paul. We were in the "One Class". He was on the swimming team. I was on the basketball team. All of the athletes would gather around the Gym offices. One day Paul and John Burkhardt came up to me and said, "Harry, why don't you come out to the "Y" and we will teach you how to swim". I told them that I knew how to swim. Their reply, was "No you don't". So, I went to the "Y", and they; taught me the proper way to swim.

I also remember seeing a picture of Paul and John (and a couple of girls) on the Harbison Milk calendar. They were jumping over the sand at Ocean City.
I offer my sympathy to his family, and I have been praying for him.

I am so sorry to learn of Mr. Geithner's passing. I spent the first 30 years of my working life at FVB and have always admired Mr. Geithner for his intellect, integrity, kindness and basic human decency. He was a role model for many.

It was with true sadness to learn of the passing of Paul on August 1. Though I worked with Paul only on rare occasions at the bank, it was always a pleasure. If you were to look up the definition of a true gentleman, you would find Paul's picture. With condolences, Frank and Susan Tavenner, of Everett, Washington.

It was my privilege to serve with Paul on the Bridgewater College Board of Trustees. He was a trusted voice of experience and reason. I extend deepest sympathy to all of his family.

The Ocean City Beach Patrol Alumni wishes to express our sadness at loosing one of our Hall of Fame members. Our condolences to Paul's family. He will live in the memory of all those who worked with him on the Patrol and also those of us who knew him as a Hall of Fame member of our Beach Patrol Alumni.

I am truly sorry to hear of Mr. Geithners passing, I was very fortunate to have met him. I wish peace to the Geithner family during this sad time.

I am so sorry for your loss. I did not know him, I work with Paul at NASA. If the children are a reflection of the parents, Paul sounds like an amazing father, and Paul is an incredible son.
