It's been several years now and I still think of him almost every day. I miss him so much that it hurts so bad. He was such a great person with an amazing sense of humor and dedication to family and friends. He always had a smile on his face. Love and miss ya buddy.

As these years have flown by without you Paul in our life, the space of emptiness is so vast. Then a young man enters the room. I had a chance to visit with him, watch his face light up, the twinkle in his eyes. The smile and how he was already thinking of what his next move was going to be. I asked him if I could give Shanna and Paul a hug, because Wow, Paden is from both of you. He has both of your energy and needs all of the family's help in loving and controlling it. I know you are watching from above, so you aren't missing this show. I love and miss you Paul. I wish I lived closer to Shanna and Paden.

I miss paul so much! I loved his ability to have fun no matter what and to make friends where ever he went. I could always count on Paul no matter what. I miss the phone the constant phone calls and how he loved to tell me how i should live my life. I can still hear his voice in my head telling what to do and I will do my best to live my life in a way that would make him proud!

Yesterday I said Goodbye to a friend. But forever will I remember him. Paul not only were you great friend but also a brother to me. You never backed down from a challenge, from life, and the rules. I don’t think you knew what those were! You were outspoken even when it may not have been the time or place. You told it how you saw it and that was that. I can never thank you enough for the times I felt down and you pulled me out and said lets hit the beach.

Awesome times in SLO town, Avila and Pismo Beach, and of course the Junk Yard. Afternoon lunches with a glass of milk of course!

I know your in a better place, Surfing again and Snowboarding the great waves and powder in the hills above us all. Looking down and laughing at us all.

See you again my friend, and my brother..... But not yet.....

Our hearts go out to you, Shanna and Paden. We feel a little bit of the pain and loss you feel from having been temporarily separated from such a good dad, husband and man as Paul. As you grieve his loss, may the Spirit of God displace your sorrow with only the fond memories of the man Paul truly was.

I will never forget our friend and family, our brother Paul. Gosh I still can not believe you left the Pismo Gang and went off to a better place. GOD BLESS YOU.
Paul and I met while working for Microage, which is now UPS in Santa Maria. Paul was one of the Gang of the Pismo peeps. Camping, Bomb fires, and hanging out on the porch drinking a glass of Kool Aid while talking about our lives. Paul never ever stopped telling me about Shanna. He has always been in love with her from the first time I met him. No matter if they were on or off, friends or lovers, he was always talking about her. When he told me she was pregnant, all of his dreams had come true. He grew up. He became the man he always wanted to be for her. Married her, and fell even more in love with her. What more could he have asked for? Nothing. His dreams came true. He lived a Great life. I will miss him. I did not get to say goodbye so for me there will never be goodbye, but instead great memories of his smile, his dry skin, (he always felt the need to share), his cute jokes, and his stylish cool smooth attitude with those stylish sun glasses to match his attire that always made us think nothing could take him down. I will miss you my friend. The Pismo Gang will never forget you. GOD BLESS

Lost Spirit

If you find yourself,
feeling alone.

Look in your mirror,
my spirits not home.
Open your heart, close your eyes,
feel me roam.
Very soon you will feel,
where my spirit has flown.
Eyes still closed....feel..
my spirit by your side.

Yes, you have found,
where my spirit does hide.
Open your mind,
let my spirit come in.
Understand, in everything,
..my spirits...within.

Forever you shall remain in our hearts..
