Francis A. McCaffrey Sr.

Francis Anthony McCaffrey Sr., a lifelong resident of Weymouth, died Jan. 27, 2010. He was 52 years of age. Among his interests, he loved following the Boston Red Sox. He was the father of Francis Anthony McCaffrey Jr. of Weymouth; beloved brother of Kathy Benton of Carver, Vickie Smith of Michigan, Josephine McCaffrey and Margaret McCaffrey, both of Weymouth, Bettyjane Wojnowski of New Hampshire, Kevin McCaffrey of Wareham, Joseph R. McCaffrey Jr. of Weymouth, Edward McCaffrey of New Hampshire and the late Phillip McCaffrey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a son of the late Joseph R. McCaffrey Sr. and Elizabeth A. (Yannizzi) McCaffrey. A memorial Mass will be in the Saint Francis Xavier Church, South Weymouth, Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Interment in Saint Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
