HEASLEY PAUL A.
Of Belle Vernon, PA, passed away at home Saturday, June 15, 2013. Chair of the Snee-Reinhardt Charitable Foundation 1997-2003 and active member of the Board of Directors to present. Founder and owner of Alliance International Ltd., The Sports Legacy Foundation and Original Founder of the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. Past member of the Board of Directors of the Children's Institute of Pittsburgh, Airport Limited Partners. Catholic by faith and a member of St. Sebastian Church in Belle Vernon, PA, where he was a past Extraordinary Minister and a 7th grade CCD teacher. He remained a faithful friend to the Pittsburgh Passionist Nuns in Carrick, PA. Preceded in death by his parents, Norman S. and Marie Reinhardt Heasley; brother, Tim Heasley; aunt Katherine Reinhardt Snee and husband, Bill; aunt Viola Reinhardt Tortorice; mother and father in-law, Ann and Frank Osiol; brother-in-law and best friend, Alan Dzyak. Survivors are wife, Karen Heasley; daughter, Chris (Heasely) Treadwell and husband, Dave of Jefferson Hills; son, Lucas and wife, Annette (Brozek) Heasley of Venetia. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the PARZYNSKI FUNERAL HOME & CREMATIONS, Family Owned and Operated, 626 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, 724-929-6183. Prayer Service will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, followed by Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at St. Sebastian R.C. Church with the Rev. Msgr. Roger A. Statnick Pastor as celebrant. Interment will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to The Passionist Nuns, 2715 Churchview Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15227; St. Sebastian Church, 801 Broad Avenue, Belle Vernon, PA 15012; UPMC Emphysema Research Center, Dr. Frank C. I met Paul Heasley through his association with the Pittsburgh Riverhounds. As a fan of the beautiful game he did much to promote the game in Pittsburgh and around the USA. A star will shine brightly down on Highmark stadium tonight.
