Paul Hester Obituary
Paul D. (Paulie, Pollito) Hester, born November 1, 1956, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 20, 2016 at the age of 59. Paul was an avid Bunco player, he did several TV commercials in California and was a huge fan of Bette Midler. He worked for Broadway Bank and was known as the "Voice of Broadway Bank." His father William R. Hester preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother Antonia Salazar; sisters Linda Hester and Patricia Johnson; brother Edward Hester; niece and husband Catherine and David Laurel as well as numerous other nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation will be held Sunday, April 24, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. with a rosary recited at 7:00 P.M. at Mission Park South. Funeral mass will be held Monday, April 25, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Leo The Great Catholic Church.

I am deeply sadend upon learning of Paul's passing. I was remembering Paul and other classmates just last night (21 April, 2016) at FIESTA San Fernando with family members who likes myself were Paul's classmates at Luther Burbank High School, how bubbly sence of humor and bright smile will be greatly missed by family, extended family and friends. God, I guess chose this particular fiestive time of year to call Paul home, a reuniting of family, friends, but as I see it, it also be a class reunion of friends from our school days, those were such happy times for us, I didn't plan on this as a class reunion, but for reasons known only by God we will honor a son, a brother, unckle, and for some of an Unforgetable friend. May our prayers for you Paul and your family and all those you held close to your heart, our prayers will be thst guiding light that will always shine upon you and guide you safely into God's open arms, and God will say to you Welcome home my child. God's Peace and Grace for you and family, and for who knew you and loved you.
