Bruce was so supportive and encouraging. We worked together at Home Depot while I was finishing my first degree, and he always went out of his way to make me know that I was his friend. He shared recipes (which I'm sure were Jane's), shared gripes about our bosses, jokes, and much advice on life. When I worked in the paint department I would always rub paint on the same part of my apron, and he commented that he liked the way it looked, so when I was forced to get a new apron he cut the square off with the paint, had me sign it, and said he framed it. He was a great man and while we only spoke occasionally over the past few years he will be dearly missed.

Bruce was a dear friend. I am sorry our paths crossed so late in life but blessed beyond measure that we did. He was a joy to work with, a believer in Jesus Christ, a witty man with an infectious smile. He will truly be missed by me and others. Rest well my friend for you will be forever in my heart.
