Many memories of my growing up centered around my Uncle Paul. Still think of him often and know my dear cousins that he was the best. Love you all.

I was not aware that Uncle Paul had died until two months after he was gone. I'm SO very sorry, he was one of the most positive upbeat individuals that I've ever had the good fortune to have known. His family was very lucky to have him, now God is the lucky one.

Aunt MaryAnna and family; Terry and I want you to know we are thinking of you and you are in our prayers. We both have great memories of the time we came to visit in Florida with you all. I of course have so many good childhood memories of when we were all together. May God bless you with his comfort and peace. We know that we will all meet again someday....then we won't have to say goodbye! Love to all,

Terry and Barb Bear

Aunt Maryanna and all. So sorry to hear of Uncle Paul's passing. Lot's of great memories with you all. Kathy and I will always remember your visit to us and the kids in Louisiana, same old Uncle Paul, took our kids to the store to get them whatever they wanted. We really enjoyed having you to ourselves for a few days. Much Love and prayers. Mark and Kathy

To our beloved sister and nieces and nephew, Mary Anna, Peggy & Don, Dorothy, Diane & Willie, Bill & Carol, Mary Ann & Kevin & Teresa & Dell, and all the great nieces and nephews.

We want you to know how much you are in our thoughts and prayers, as you are grieving because God has called home your beloved husband and father, but also celebrating the memories you hold deep in your hearts. We keep thinking of the many wonderful times we shared, and how much we enjoyed your visits back to Ohio and also our visits with your family in Florida. Paul was always so anxious for everyone to have a good time and was a wonderful host.

There are so many memories going through our minds. We think of the trips you made to Lima for weddings, reunions, funerals and the quick trip you made when Doris suffered her heart attack. Paul lovingly performed so many works of charity. He always seemed to have a special place in his heart for Linda and she loved her Uncle Paul.

We remember the love and dedication he had to his work at St. Charles parish, his service as sacristan, and his prayer life. As he always told everyone he was ready whenever God wanted to take him, so I think that both Paul and God are very happy today!!

We have had very few funerals at our St. Charles parish recently, but as it happens there was one today, and another tomorrow. Since I sing in the funeral choir as often as I can, I went this morning, and will again tomorrow so it's almost like being at Paul's funeral. I just wish we could hear the homily the priest will give for him, I know it will be a wonderful and loving tribute to him, and a source of comfort to the family.

We want you to know we love all of you very much, and our hearts ache for you in your sorrow.

God bless you and keep you in his loving care.

Much love always,

George and Joann

P.S. I think it helped me to be able to share our thoughts with you. Many of the thoughts brought back happiness and smiles, but I also shed quite a few tears, and that is good too, because we loved him dearly.
