Another year, seems like you were just here for me to call and talk about what happened at work, or with the kiddo, or just about what you thought about this or that. Your voice was so soothing to me. You almost always gave me advice whether I asked or not. I was so proud of your sobriety. I miss you still and thank God that you were my Daddy.

There are many of us here at the American Poolplayers Association that remember Paul with fondness. He was a good League Operator, a great guy and just a pleasure to be around. And who could ever forget the chocolate chip cookies he brought to the Team Championship every year! Paul will be missed and remembered by his APA Family.

I remember the time Uncle Paul was single and living with my folks and me. Late one night had gotten locked out of the house. The screen doors were hooked. It was summer and he climbed between the house and a large tree to my second floor bedroom window so he could call my dad to let him in. "Bob... Bob... Bob!" "Paul what the h__l are you doing out there?" "What the h__l do you think, I'm trying to get in!"
