Paul Lavell Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Feb. 5, 2019.
It is with great sadness the family announces Paul's passing on February 5, 2019 in his 56th year. He will be dearly missed by his children Jacob and Ethan and by their mother Patty Wong. Beloved son to Audrey and the late Peter. Dear brother to Ron (Nora), the late Barb (Ted), Michael (Karen), Cathy (Bill), Donna and Bernie (Carol). He will be sadly missed by all his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Paul made family a priority and his children, Jacob and Ethan, gave him pride strength and love. Paul worked for 28 years at McMaster University as a Computer Systems Specialist. He regularly fielded calls and made visits, as our personal IT specialist, for all family members which were greatly appreciated. The many visits he received from life long friends attest to his loyalty and dependability. His smile, dry sense of humour and optimism will remain a treasured memory. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff at Princess Margaret Hospital and Emmanuel House for their compassionate care and support. In keeping with Paul's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family gathering will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations to Princess Margaret Hospital or to Emmanuel House would be greatly appreciated by his family.

Paul was a very special young man who like all the rest of the family was a joy to know. He exemplified all the virtues of which a parent could be so proud. May God bless the Lavell family during this difficult time.
