Paul E. Livermore

Paul E. Livermore, 75, of Mesa/Pay-son, passed away July 4, 2004. He
was born December 27, 1928 in Mercer County, PA. A graduate of Phoenix Union High School in 1946, he attended Phoenix College, graduating from Arizona State College in 1951. After serving in the U.S. Ar
my he began teaching mathematics at Arizona State University, later moving to Phoenix College for the remainder of his career. Paul is survived by his wife Betty Jo, his daughters Janet Whalen and Vivian Wolf and by his son Matthew Livermore. He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren and one niece. Paul's family, his many friends and students will long remember a gentleman of kindness, of unlimited generosity and of memorable humor, qualities that marked his character. The high standards he set for his students were clearly reflected in his own conduct and beliefs. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, July 9, 2004 at Mariposa Gardens Cemetery Chapel 6747 E. Broadway Road, Mesa, AZ. Contributions may be made to: Phoenix College c/o Paul E.
