Paul M. Loranger

This one hurts. Mr Loranger was not only my high school assistant principal, but also my grandmothers neighbor. He had such an impact on my younger years. He was stoic, but he also had a REALLY good sense of humor (thank God). I will always remember him, not only as a wonderful educator, but as a good friend and neighbor. My sincere condolences to his sons Eric and Mark.

The photo here brought back a flood of memories from my time working with Paul at Sanborn. He was a top notch administrator from whom I learned a lot as a young teacher.

Great person, leader and educator!

Paul, a man of few words whose presence resonated deeply with all who knew him. His spirit, a guiding force since our childhood, continues to linger in my heart. Eric, Mark, and family I share in your sorrow and extend my deepest condolences for your loss. The memories of the little things Paul used to say and do during my visits to your home as a child are treasures I will hold onto forever. May he rest in peace.

Mr Loranger was a cool guy. He carried himself with authority and respect and had such a great way to handle "problem" kids like myself at the time. He felt more like a support than just a disciplinary figure. That was key to kids like me that needed a kick in the butt here and there to get my act together and I much appreciated it. RIP Mr Loranger. Take it easy on them up there!!!

In his role of vice principal, Paul helped me to be a better teacher. He was so kind to me my first year. He and Vic made Sanborn a great place to learn and work. He explified the best of The Sanborn Spirit.

Paul you were a true friend and a special person. You will be missed. Our love and condolences to your family.

Sorry to hear about the passing of my cousin Paul may your rest in peace. My condolences to your son's and your step daughter Karen.

I remember my cousin Paul as my brother's roommate when they were in college. They shared a room in my uncle's house, and were always studying when us younger cousins would sneak upstairs to visit.

Paul was a warm and welcoming administrator when I started at Sanborn Regional HS. He was a fabulous educational mentor and a true friend. I will miss him. Thinking of his family during this difficult time.

David and family...My deepest sympathies to you all upon Paul's passing. What a valuable impact he made in the lives of others. May his memory be eternal.

Mr.Loranger was a wonderful teacher who instilled a love a reading & encouraged students to learn about things they are curious about.

My fondest memories are of him taking our class outside on the first beautiful warm day of spring to do class outside and him arranging a surprise birthday party for Mrs.Pecor his teaching partner across the hall.

May the many special memories shared with family & friends sustain them during this difficult time.

My memories of Mr Loranger bring me back to Sanborn Middle School 1983. He was a great teacher with a sense of humor and much patience. He had a debonair presence about him, and many of the girls had a crush on him. That last part makes me smile and chuckle aloud. I hope that your fond memories bring smiles and laughter during this difficult time. My sincerest condolences to your family.

My memories of Paul go back to all the numerous gatherings we had at Walnut Street, Shirley Hill Road, and the "camp". Rest in peace my dear cousin.

I am honored to have him in my memories as one of the best teachers that I had. You left your legacy that is irreplaceable. May you rest in peace and always be remembered as one of the best ! The class of 1986 will always remembered you....

Paul had a quiet influence on many of the students who passed through Sanborn Reg. High School. He had a positive effect on this world and his legacy will be remembered. I will miss seeing him in downtown Exeter.

Even though I didn´t ever know him by his name Paul, Mr. Loranger was a very special person to me. He helped me grow into the person I am today and no words can express the sadness of losing a great person. Just one look from Mr. Loranger was enough to get myself to class fast. He didn´t even have to say a word. He will be sorely missed.

Mr Loranger was a strong influential part of my deviant younger self. A wealth of wisdom and compassion along with a few select others that pointed a way towards a better path. Much love to his family and everyone else his life has blessed. He will be missed.

He was such an amazing man and I'm so happy we reconnected later in life He was a remarkable vice principal.

Paul was my husband´s first nephew and he was an altar boy at our wedding. I hadn´t seen him in many years and never met his two sons and I want to extend my sympathy to both of them. RIP Paul. Love, Aunt Bev

Mr. Loranger had a dry sense of humor and he was a consummate educator. I was fortunate to have had him as my biology teacher at Sanborn High in the '80s. I am so sorry to hear of his passing and so sorry for the loss his family is facing. May he go gently into that good night.

My first memory is every moment I have spent time or talked with Erik, his son, one of my best friends. I didn´t know Mr. Loranger as well as most, but I know Erik, and he must have been one great man because Erik turned out to be one too!
