MCGUIRE, Paul David March 3, 1937 - February 21, 2016. Early Sunday morning at Queensway-Carleton Hospital, Ottawa at the age of 78 Years. Paul is survived by his former wife and life-long friend, Carolyn (Hartley) McGuire, Ottawa; his children, James Patrick, Ottawa; Catherine Theresa Drury, Burlington, ON; Matthew Joseph, Cut Knife, SK; and by his brother James Darrel, Vancouver, BC; and by his grandchildren, James Caught, Ottawa; Kaitlyn Drury, Toronto; Erin Drury, Toronto; and Clare Drury, Burlington; and by his great-grandson, Seamus McGuire, Ottawa; and by many dear friends.

A celebration of Paul's life will take place on Saturday March 5, 2016 at the Orange Art Gallery, 290 City Centre Ave. Ottawa, ON at 4:00 p.m. It was Paul's wish that, in lieu of flowers, friends and family consider a donation to a worthy charity. I met Paul during his days at Waupoos Farm. The farm is a better place for Paul's many contributions through his work and relationships. My memory is of a gentle, caring man.

Art Riley and Teresa Ryan remember with fondness the friendship that Paul gave to both of us during his time at the Oblate Provincial Office. Teresa was a co-worker with Paul for many years. Rest in peace Paul. Deacon Art Riley and Teresa Ryan
